Brightness not changing issue after windows 10 april 2018 update

#1

When i installed windows 10 april 2018 update i found issue in brightness control. Itried to reduce my brightness but the brightness didn’t change.

I tried all the fixes or ways to solve this problem but nothing worked.
I updated my display driver; disabed it and then enabled; uninstalled my disply driver and reinstalled but couldn’t solve this problem. So, I returned to previous version of windows 10 1709.

DISPLAY ADAPTER : Mobile Intel® 4 Series Express Chipset Family (Microsoft Corporation - WDDM 1.1)

PROCESSOR : Pentium® Dual-Core CPU T4200 @ 2.00GHz

Please fix this problem asap so i can install this latest version of windows.

What troubleshooting steps did you take? If you went through the same process as @Rahul07, it’s best to rollback to previous version as it seems that version 1803 still have a bunch of issues.

#4

Yes I did The Same Process And When I Uninstall My Display Adapter Driver And Restart I Can Adjust Screen Brightness Normally But The Display Adapter Driver Go Back To (Microsoft Basic Display Adapter
) And If I Updated Again The Problem Will Back

#5

Maybe The Only Way Is rollback to previous version , THANK YOU

Personally, I always wait four months before upgrading my work machine, which the time it takes for Microsoft to consider a feature update, in this case version 1803, stable for businesses.

Ok , I Learned Something New Today ,THANKS Again And Goodbye.
